In providing the Company's services and in the course of its other business activities, the Company acquires personal information appropriately from users of the Company's services (hereinafter referred to as "Users") and from other individuals. When acquiring personal information, the Company clarifies the purpose of use and does not acquire personal information by deception or other wrongful means. The Company may acquire and use the following information relating to individuals who use the site "Japan Toreca Center" provided by the Company (hereinafter referred to as the "Site") in accordance with the purposes set out in the following article.

(1) Information relating to use of the Site

- Name, email address, telephone number, address, and other information relating to the customer that is provided by the customer

- Information for carrying out transactions made by the customer through use of the Site, purchases, or otherwise through the Site, and information relating to such transactions (including the payment method used for payment)

(2) Information for payment of the price of Products

Credit card information, bank account information, information relating to electronic money, and other payment-related information used for payment

Users' personal information is used within the scope necessary to achieve the purposes set out below and is not used for any purpose other than such purposes. Where the Company uses personal information for a purpose not set out below, it does so after obtaining the prior consent of the individual concerned.

The Company endeavors to keep personal information accurate and up to date, and endeavors to take reasonable and appropriate security control measures.

The Company may entrust all or part of the handling of personal information to a third party within the scope necessary to achieve the purposes of use. In such case, the Company thoroughly examines the suitability of the entrustee, stipulates matters such as confidentiality obligations in the contract, and exercises necessary and appropriate supervision over the entrustee. In addition, the Company may jointly use all or part of personal information in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Act.

Except in the cases set out below, the Company does not provide personal information to third parties without obtaining the prior consent of the individual concerned.

Where an individual requests disclosure of their own personal information, the Company will make such disclosure promptly. However, where disclosure would fall under any of the following, the Company may withhold all or part of the disclosure, and where it decides not to disclose, it will notify the individual to that effect without delay.

1. Where there is a risk of harm to the life, body, property, or other rights or interests of the individual concerned or of a third party

2. Where there is a risk of significant impediment to the proper implementation of the Company's business

3. Where disclosure would violate laws or regulations

Where there is an error in the contents of personal information and the individual concerned requests correction, addition, or deletion, the Company will investigate the matter and respond promptly to such request. If you have any of the above requests or any inquiries regarding the Company's handling of personal information, please contact the point of contact set out below. Please note that where we cannot verify that you are the individual concerned, we cannot comply with the above requests.

Where an individual requests the suspension of use or the erasure of their personal information on the grounds that it is being handled beyond the scope of the purposes of use or that it was acquired by wrongful means, the Company will conduct the necessary investigation without delay and, based on the results thereof, suspend the use of the personal information or take other measures and notify the individual to that effect. However, where suspension of use or other measures would require a large expense, or where it is otherwise difficult to suspend use or take such other measures, and alternative measures necessary to protect the rights and interests of the individual concerned can be taken, the Company will take such alternative measures.

This Privacy Policy may be revised. Where this Privacy Policy is revised, the Company will give notice to that effect on the Company's site, so please check it periodically. Except where the Company separately provides otherwise, the revised policy shall take effect from the time it is posted on this site.
